New Year.

Today was the first day of school for my Kids. Nick got to start the day at school at noon. T.H.Bell had the 7th grade come in early so they can get the feel for having multiple classes. This gave the 8th & 9th grades some time at home. They did not have to be in until 11 am. I thought that one of the staff members said noon. Good thing it was the first day of school. Also Nick is continuing with band this year. HOORAY FOR NICK!!!!!

The girls met their teachers today, because we missed back to school night. We were not the only family that missed it.
I proud to say that Liz's teacher is willing to have Liz's help. I hope that Liz show that she is smart & not become lazy, because she knows some of the stuff from last year.
Hanna is excited to make new friends & learn fun stuff. I think she is going blossom a lot this year.
So back to my saying from last year 'hope all have a happy & safe school year'.
I will keep all of you bloggers updated on all the up-coming events of the school year.

CecilReederScott Camping Part 1 South Fork Area

Grandparents, Mom, & Tayler
This is one of the only three pictures I got of Tayler.
This day Bryant cooked a roast, cheezy tatos, &
carrot in the dutch ovens.

Bryant

Robin & Dan

Mark
Hanna & Sarah
July 21-23, 2009 Robin, Dan & family plus mom
camped at South Fork Area. July 23 My kids & I
joined them. Later that evening Bryant joined us.
Poor Guy had to work that night. July 24 Andra &
Michael joined us. We as a whole stayed until Sunday
July 26th. We enjoyed the time together.

Part 2 Willard Bay

Here is Danny out on the tube by himself. He "LOVED IT'. He was all grins.

I was lucky to get six of the seven kids for a picture.
Tayler was helping Michael & Andy with the boat.

The two little girls were loving every minute of the boat ride.
Give Hanna a big hand. It was her first time on a boat & did not get sick.

Here is Michael & Mark on the tube after they wiped out.
It was hilarious. Mark fell off Michael like a rag doll.

here are the three sisters. I took our picture while
we waited for the everyone to finish with the boat rides.
So Andy & Michael brought his boat to the camp site we
were staying at. On Sunday we cleaned up our site and all,
but Bryant head over to Willard bay. We had a blast. We all
now may be tanned from it & sore, but it was so worth it.

Reeder Reunion 2009

We got back today from Bryant's side of the family reunion. One of the activities
was to make our own rock family. Well I decided that I was not
going to make my little rock family, so I made one of the six
brothers (the rocks that have eyes are the brothers'). The rocks
that don't have eyes are all the children & grandchildren
(think of it as 2 generations). I also made a fire pit and added
gravel for the dirty. My niece Lasandra was nice and made the
picnic table. Everyone thought it was great.
On the 1st day we
were there, we was visited by this moose. All the kids and we
adults thought it cool that he came to visit. Yesterday We did
not see him, but as we were cleaning up today He came back to
visit. He is still a young one.

Words From Roger

So I messaged Roger on facebook a few days ago and this what he wrote me today.
"He's doing fine, recovering. It's basically over, just the dregs. Thanks for asking. You guys take care, it's really prevelant. The media just doesn't really portray this, kind of misleading. Everyone goes about their day to day stuff and don't think about it and soon enough a neighbor or family member visits with what they just thought was allergies. Anyway, just be alert and keep hands washed and away from face. Best advice. Sooner or later all will be exposed to it."

To Close To Home.

In the news for months now we have been hearing about "The Swine Flu". You do feel bad for the person(s)/people who get it and who have died from it. Well it is now hit to close to home. Bryant just called my about 8:45am to inform me that his brother Roger's eldest son Michael is down with the Swine Flu. Please pray for a speedy and health recovery. Love all you.

We have fathers that will be there when we get hurt.
We have fathers who will take the time out of their "Days Off" to enjoy the holidays with us. Fathers who become fathers before they get married and take the responsibilities of children who are not their blood. Who are teaching the children right from wrong. Thanx to you. It takes a good guy. To the fathers who are willing to take the responsibility of their unborn children and marry the woman. Thanx to you.

Now I am going to be sappy and jump in before my other family members do and say, 'THANK YOU TO OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR US!!!!!!" We Love You.

9th Anniversary

Today is the 9th anniversary of the stillbirth of our third child Dawn. We named her Dawn after my older sister who also is not with us. I am glad that I was able to know the cause of she death and that I was able to hold her in my arms and have the proper closure to not having her with our on this earth. It does still hurt to think about at times and Yes I am crying as I type this. It is a hurt that will never leave. In time it is easier to handle, but I do have my moments and not just around the day of her birth. I will feel a pain of guilty that I am here and she is not. I do miss her and I do wish at times that she was here. I try to picture what she would look like and what personality she would have. Those thoughts are the most strong at this time. I do know that her hair would have been a medium shade of brown like Liz and I. No matter what she is loved and missed deeply. To all the mommy's-to-be, cherish the the moment before the birth of your child. Write down the changes your body goes through, the changes in the growth of your baby, and the first times during the months of your pregnancy. It may sound funny, but it is the best thing for you and that child to cherish for always. Pregnancy is a scary thing and the most exciting thing, but the end result is the most memorable thing you will ever have. So if it is your first or 18th baby, each pregnancy is wonderful.
Congratulations to all the new mommys-to-be. I love all of you and happy that you are adding to your families.

Science Fair

This is Liz's Science fair project. She wanted to do it on Mount St. Helens. Well we read the guide lines for the fair and you're not aloud to use liquid for the volcanoes. Well with rules some people break them. There were about five different sizes of volcanoes and only one that did use the items to erupt their volcano. It was a minor mess. Now Liz's was different from the stereotype volcano. I made Mt. St. Helens after the 1980 eruption. We left it at the school and went home to get the other family members, then returned to the school to see this. Some one(s) put their fingers in it and made it some what of a mess. The few friends I knew said that it looked okay. It gave it more charater. I am bummed that I did not get a picture before it was messed up.
Here is Liz next to her display. I will never help with another science fair again. I now know why I never did them. The time and effort that go in to them really bites. Liz had to do it for ALA. It is a requirement for Her.

GOOD NEWS

Well for the few that knew About Bryant's leg, NO surgery. HURRAY!!!!
For the ones that don't know. February 2nd Bryant ask me to look at his leg. I won't say what area of the leg it was. I looked at the area he said hurt, there was a bump the size of a quarter. So I looked at it closer and thought it might be a zit. I tried to see if I could pop it. That didn't work. So the next day after he got out of the shower, I looked at it again and it still was hurting. So I told him that he may want to go to the doctor and see what he said about it. He waited out Monday and the pain was bad. Tuesday morning, I took him to Bryant to the doctor. Well the doctor looked at it and gave Bryant some medicine to see if that would help take the pain away. Well that evening Bryant calls me from work and asked if I would pick him up from work. We get home and he get into lounge clothes, but not before I look at his leg. WOW, there was a red area about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide on his leg. To give you a visual, it likes like he rubbed sandpaper in his leg. so Wed morning He called me as I was leave Liz's school, saying he has to go back to the doctors office. We go and the doctor pierces the bump to see if that will drain. Bryant gets a shot and is asked to come back in the morning. We go back Thursday and Friday , too. He was asked to go back on Saturday, but Bryant decided to see how he felt Monday and go from there. Well during the Wednesday-Fridays visits the doctor has his nurse outline the redness to see how more it spreads. So Friday they were all joking that Bryant has a geographic map on his leg.
So late week the doc decide to have Bryant go see a surgeon. well Today He had an appointment to meet with a surgeon. He came in and looked at Bryant's leg and said that it doesn't feel that bad and that if Bryant wanted to just finish the second run of antibiotics, that there is no need for surgery. Bryant is happy.

Here are some awsome picture.

Here are two pictures and a video of some of the flooring in the new Library.

This is the view of the cool flooring that leads into the children area of the new Library.

Here is a close up of the floor.

In this clip I am stepping on the floor to show what it does. It is the coolest thing I got to see today. I had to wear a hard hat. DANG, those hats are uncomfortable. My head was itching after I took it off.
Here is the link to the web page for the Library's website. It will bring up more pictures, most or all taken by Bryant. It shows from beginning of construction to what it looks like now. It is going to be a great library. I am waiting for the day the doors open to the public. I can take my kids inside and watch their faces to see what their dad is talking about, from time to time.

Gallstones

Well all i want you to know that ER visits suck, but when you find yourself in pain for for a lease 2 hours, I think at that time you better go. Well that is what happen to me at 2 o'clock Thursday morning. I ate dinner at my mom-in-law's home Wednesday evening. We had pizza for dinner and homemade brownies for desert. It all sat like a rock in my stomach. I don't know why it was so heavy, I didn't over eat. So we get home from mom's house, watched TV and then went to bed. Well around two I woke up with very bad pain in my left side. so I got up and walked the house a for little while and sat down to watch TV, to distract me from my pain. I dose off for short periods of time. By 4:30-5:00 I could not take the pain anymore so I woke up Hubby.
I asked he to take me to the ER. I am sorry that we had to go, but I couldn't wait for 9 am for the instant care to open. I am glad that I finally found out why I when I would eat at time why the food was heavy in my stomach. I have Gallstones. OUCH!!!! Now here is a shocker, I, Lori, has to eat food low in fat and in small amounts. I LOVE my fatty foods. When I got home from the ER I ate a small bowl of cereal and My Kids got to stay home from school, they liked that. I am also sorry that this caused Nick and Liz to break their perfect attendance at school, but what can you do, plan for it. If things like that can be planned it would have been. I will keep you all posted when we decide for me to go in and have my gallbladder removed. That is the only way for me to feel better and get back to eating foods I like.
Also it came at a bad time in my life. I quit my job. They were cutting my hours and would have just stopped put me on the schedule without telling me why. When I saw the hours I would have had this week I decided it was time to leave Chick-fil-a for good. I did ask why and they said that my performance was slipping. It is sad that they didn't let me know that I was slipping sooner. I would have worked harder on bringing up my performance. Also It would of helped if the General Manager didn't talk to his crew as if they were scum on his shoe. That kind of managing is wrong. As Manager you need to talk to your crew as a person and not like they are stupid. I can go on about it, but I will stop there. I don't want to bore all of you.
Love you all.
