First of all I want to wish Grandma a Belated Happy Birthday. I was reminded by Nick this Morning. I forgot to call and wish her a good day.
Now for the month of December, I want let all of you know that this is Robin, Dan and the Kids first Christmas in their new home. I am excited that they now live closer to all of us. Robin and Dan welcome home.
It is sad that the Anderson Clan is not having a Christmas party this year.
I Want to Give A Shout Out To EVERYONE Who Is Having A Birthday This Month: HAPPY BIRTHDAY .
Now there is this other day that I just can't put my finger on. I think it has something to do with a Fat man in red or was it reindeer or little elves or gingerbread cookies or pines trees or flashing red and green light or was it........OH I Know what it is NAN'S (Hanna) Birthday. No that is not it, Oh it is My Birthday, no that still isn't right. Oh well it will come to me later.

MERRY
CHRISTMAS

I hope that everyone had a great and is stuffed Turkey Day. We Cecil-Reeder-Scott, minus Andy, enjoyed the grilled turkey Dan did. It was great. Every thing turn out heavenly. Andy went with Michael to his Mother home in California. They made it safely. Love all of you and I am thankful for the large Anderson family I was born in to. I am grateful for the Grandparents that started this family. I Love You G-ma & G-pa.

PART TWO...........CARVING PUMPKINS

The kids got to carve their pumpkins on the Sunday before
Halloween. Liz and Hanna put faces on their pumpkins. Nick
never put anything on his. So sad.

PART ONE.......NICK WRESTLING

Here is Nick in his (onezee)singlet
showing partly from under his clothes . I like to tease him.
This is from his Oct 21st match.
The two guy on the left, next to the black part of the circle are him coaches.

He went three rounds.
One 2 minute, and Two 1 minute.

Sorry to say He lost,
but he did put up a good fight.
Now for a funny. For his Oct. 23rd match, He was matched with a kids that was about one foot taller and lost that match. The kids picked Nick off the ground about an inch and Nick didn't have a chance. We as a family were shocked. Nick's face was priceless when He looked up to see the kids. We all have a good laugh at it.

I feel dumb

Sorry everyone, didn't know until yesterday afternoon, but Nick decided that He will do wrestling for five weeks and go back to after school program after wrestling is over. I am hoping that He does well and that He enjoys himself. I guess I don't know my son that well. He Is growing up before my eyes and I am having a hard time understanding what boys his age are like. I grew up with Sisters and no brothers. I do have male cousins, but that is not the same as brothers. So I feel dumb when it comes to having a boy. I don't know what I am doing some days. Sorry pity party for one please.
Love you all.

Late in posting

Well everyone, the sunflowers are all down. Bryant cut the rest of them last Tuesday. it looks empty now that they are down. That is life. Now we can work on getting them socked, roasted and eaten. I was planning to post the day of or the day after, but life got in the way.

Also I want to let everyone know that I have a scrapblog. All you need to do is go to scrapblog.com go to the word explore, then to people and type in reederraiders. That will bring up my scrap pages. I hope you all like them.

About Nick

Well i found this week that Nick doesn't want to wrestle. Instead he wants to play many instruments. In Band class He was given a clarinet to play, so we gave it back, because Robin still had hers from Jr. High. Thank You Robin. Also He is in an after school program. They want kids to be familiar with music. So they are teaching kids to play different instruments. So Nick decided that He want to learn the Guitar, Bagpipes (this is going to be interesting), and the Drums. The ones they use in a drum line. I am happy that he trying out new things. I hope one or all keeps his interest for a long time. I will keep you all posted on any band recitals.

One down and five to go.

To all that have been seeing the sunflowers in past post, here is a fact of life. Okay just wanted to sound a little grown-up. Yesterday Bryant cut down the first of six sunflowers. He cut it down to take to work. Every year the boss lady (Lynnda) gives the staff at the Library a packet of seeds to grow. At the staff meeting in Sept., So today was the staff meeting. The staff members bring in the flowers the day before to be judge and the day of the meeting the winner get a price. TODAY BRYANT WON THE GRAND PRICE(S). He won a bird feeder, a large bag of bird feed, a loaf of sunflower bread, & a bag of sunflower seed kernel. I am very proud of his sunflowers and of him for the time he put in them to get them to where they are.
Here He is next to his flowers.

My Hubby's sun flowers

Here are TWO of the SEVEN that are opened. Bryant planted five seeds and the seed produced EIGHT flowers. One flower was lost because it grow out toward where we park our car. It is sad because it had its petals on it. We have a baby sun flower that I thought was lost because of the lack of sun, but it has its petals. It is cute.

New Member

I would like to introduce to all of you Bloggers, our newest member.
Zena

Monday July 7th, we were getting ready to go to my brother-in-law's and sister-in-law's house for cake and ice cream for their daughter's b-day. I was outside with the kids and I heard a faint meowing. So we looked around to find out where the sound came from. So we looked to the roof of the house in front of ours. Where was a kitten up there. Didn't think about it until we got home to find that the kitten was still there. So Nick and Bryant got the kitten off the roof. We brought her into our home for the night. Well the next day the kids went to the front house to see if the owner of the cat was home, there was no answer. So I called the landlord to ask if she knew where the person was and she didn't know.
Well three days later she called and told me that the person wasn't coming back. So that is how we gained a new member to our family.
