I feel dumb

Sorry everyone, didn't know until yesterday afternoon, but Nick decided that He will do wrestling for five weeks and go back to after school program after wrestling is over. I am hoping that He does well and that He enjoys himself. I guess I don't know my son that well. He Is growing up before my eyes and I am having a hard time understanding what boys his age are like. I grew up with Sisters and no brothers. I do have male cousins, but that is not the same as brothers. So I feel dumb when it comes to having a boy. I don't know what I am doing some days. Sorry pity party for one please.
Love you all.

Late in posting

Well everyone, the sunflowers are all down. Bryant cut the rest of them last Tuesday. it looks empty now that they are down. That is life. Now we can work on getting them socked, roasted and eaten. I was planning to post the day of or the day after, but life got in the way.

Also I want to let everyone know that I have a scrapblog. All you need to do is go to scrapblog.com go to the word explore, then to people and type in reederraiders. That will bring up my scrap pages. I hope you all like them.

About Nick

Well i found this week that Nick doesn't want to wrestle. Instead he wants to play many instruments. In Band class He was given a clarinet to play, so we gave it back, because Robin still had hers from Jr. High. Thank You Robin. Also He is in an after school program. They want kids to be familiar with music. So they are teaching kids to play different instruments. So Nick decided that He want to learn the Guitar, Bagpipes (this is going to be interesting), and the Drums. The ones they use in a drum line. I am happy that he trying out new things. I hope one or all keeps his interest for a long time. I will keep you all posted on any band recitals.

One down and five to go.

To all that have been seeing the sunflowers in past post, here is a fact of life. Okay just wanted to sound a little grown-up. Yesterday Bryant cut down the first of six sunflowers. He cut it down to take to work. Every year the boss lady (Lynnda) gives the staff at the Library a packet of seeds to grow. At the staff meeting in Sept., So today was the staff meeting. The staff members bring in the flowers the day before to be judge and the day of the meeting the winner get a price. TODAY BRYANT WON THE GRAND PRICE(S). He won a bird feeder, a large bag of bird feed, a loaf of sunflower bread, & a bag of sunflower seed kernel. I am very proud of his sunflowers and of him for the time he put in them to get them to where they are.
Here He is next to his flowers.
