Train ride to S.L.C.

Today Bryant and I take the Kids for a ride on the front runner. It is a commuter train from Ogden to Salt Lake Central. It was fun.

Here is of the kids and Bryant waiting for the front runner to leave Ogden.
This a view from the train of the Ogden parking area for the train.
This is a sad picture of the Farmington stop. This bridge is on the west side of the tracks. You park on the west side go up the stairs to the east side of the tracks. That is where the platform is to get on the train.
This is a view of the state capital from the train. I am sad to say that the view of the S.L.C. temple was not very good. I wanted to get a good picture of it, but there wasn't an angle I could find to take of it.

So jealous! We've been way bummed that FrontRunner didn't happen until after we left. I know that if we were still in Ogden we would take it all the time. Glad you had such a fun trip!

There is a train ride like that here in Arkansas, and we have always wanted to try it . . . I think my boys would love it. Your pictures make me want to give it a shot!

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog, Lori! I can't believe how long it's been since we've seen each other, but it's so nice to keep in touch.
